These 3 images show how the new addition drops off at the existing floor. The builders attributed this to the house settling. You can note how the baseboard in the first shot to the right of the extension cord doesn't touch the sloping floor . Subsequent images bolster this discovery. So we lump it.

BOING!

FENG SHUI DESIGN BY KEYSTONE CONSTRUCTION

This is about a 3/4" difference from the existing floor. A little severe in my opinion.
Base board does not touch the new floor
This is the interface between the old and the new. As you can see in the next 2 images the floor drops off to the left as is evident by the gap at baseboard and door trim.
You mean to tell me that there was no amount of money that could have leveled this main floor on this project? It would have been nice to at least been notified and given a choice.
Another view of the baseboard and the floor sloping off towards the camera.
Here you can get a sense of how much the floor is sloping in the next 2 images.
The "I" beam that spans the opening in the basement creates a hump that slpoes towards the new addition.
This is a unique closet with an original gullwing entrance.
